Here you can change foreign currencies and travelers cheque very easily at the government's exchange rate. You can transfer money from your foreign bank to Jaffna banks very easily through telex transfer which is also called as wire transfer. It is better to produce your passport at the bank whenever you want to change any money as this will make the process quick.
