To travel from Sri Lanka get the Colombo Coiambatore flight. From the airport use a vehicle to reach Isha Center. Or get the Jaffna Chennai flight and then catch the Coiambatore flight or use the land route to reach the Isha center. Take note that during the "Iyappan Swamy Mandala Poojas: it is difficult to catch Coiambatore Colombo sector flight seats. On the Maha Sivaratthiri day night there used to gather hundreds of thousands of people in front of the Adhi Yogi statue.
Isha Yoga Center is located 32 KM from the Gandhipuram Bus Stand.
If you are coming from USA or Europe get your Indian visa and land at the Coiambatore Airport.

Most of the hotels and Lodges are located in the Gandhipuram area. So, walk to the bus stand or get a taxi or Three Wheel (Auto - Tuk-Tuk) to reach the bus stand.
Every hour one bus leave to the Yoga Centre.
On the Flyover side, over first lane in the right side, you can see the Isha centre marked busses. (Public and Private Ones)
They may charge around Rs 25/- up to Rs 50/-. Depends on luxury, ordinary or private bus.
The busses will stop near to the main centre's entrance.
Also there are many small food vending stalls along with a clean large vegetarian restaurant available at the entrance.
Well maintained Toilet facilities are available at the entrance, near the Adhi Yogi statue and inside the complex. They are free to use.
After walking 50 Meters you will find a check post.
Here you have to provide your bags, cell phone, footwear and other personal belongings. They will provide you with a token for the safe return of your things you have to provide your phone number as password. It will be returned once you can provide the Numbered token and tell the phone number the things will be returned to you back, when you leave. Then follow the marked route to visit the complex in order and to visit the Adhi Yogi Statue.
It will take around 6 hours to complete this journey.
Mahashivratri is annually celebrated in this centre. There used to be nightlong festival at Velliangiri Foothills , Coimbatore, with meditations and musical performances till the morning.
