Dialog Train Ticket Booking

Dialog train ticket reservation facility is available for the Dialog mobile phone customers in Sri Lanka. This train seat booking facility is best suited for the visiting Tourists and for the local people too. Those pre-paid or post-paid account holders can reserve their train seats to Colombo, Kandy, Badulla, Jaffna, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Matara, if have enough funds in their mobile account. Their service charge will apply when you are collecting your train ticket from any of the Railway Station that used to provide computer printed train ticket. Train tickets can be reserved within 30 days only. You can reserve Sri Lanka railways ticket from today up to coming 30 days only. In this way you don't need to spend your time for searching train numbers and available seats details. Just relax in your home or office and use your Dialog mobile phone to reserve your train tickets for your next journey within Sri Lanka. Don't forget you must carry the printed ticket with you till you come out of the station at the end of the journey.

As Airtel.lk had merged with the Sri Lanka's largest mobile phone network Dialog.lk, the Airtel.lk customers too can benefit the train ticket reservation facility through mobile phone. Also they must have enough fund for this action.

Currently this service is not applicable to Colombo - Jaffna train service. This train ticket booking service will be commence by June 2024.
Jaffna bound trains are not making their full journey as the Railway Department is under taking train track repair works on this Northern Track.

How to reserve train ticket using Dialog mobile phone?

Make sure you have enough balance in your Dialog account. Just Dial 444 on your Dialog mobile from any postpaid or prepaid connection at any time. Reservations can be made for selected trains of Srilanka railway and rajadahani express. Printed tickets can be purchased from 26 selected train stations including Colombo Fort, Kilinochchi, Vauniya, Pallai and in Jaffna.

Ticket fee, Reservation Charge and Taxes will apply.
In this year 2024, VAT is being applied to all their services and products by the Dialog Company.

• State your name, Mobile number, National IC Number (NIC), destination information and number of tickets.
• You will receive the reservation details with reference number via SMS
• Collect your Printed tickets at any of the ticket collecting stations.
